New Article in Harvard Journal of Law and Public Policy on Medical Marijuana and Concealed Weapons Permits

Jacksonville, Florida – The McGowan Law Firm is pleased to announce a new publication by Jonathan McGowan in the Harvard Journal of Law and Public Policy: Per Curiam, the legal journal of The Federalist Society. The article, Medical Marijuana Permits and Concealed Weapons Permits: When One Right Impacts Another, addresses the legal complexities of having both a concealed weapons permit and concealed weapons permit.  The article, available on the Harvard Journal’s website and on this website, does a state by state analysis of constitutional and statutory language, concluding that the ability to have both permits is rooted in state law.
